We are requesting you provide PERS members that are working in PSERS positions the following information.
Choosing PSERS will cause your retirement deduction amount to change.
- PERS Plan 2 member rate is currently 3.5 percent
- Contribution rate for PSERS is 6.57 percent
- PERS Plan 3 members rates range from 5 percent to 15 percent
- Choosing PSERS means PERS Plan 2 members will have more money deducted from their check
- Choosing PSERS means PERS Plan 3 members will have more or less money deducted from their check depending on their current PERS Plan 3 rate.
We want you to provide the information above to ensure employees working in PSERS positions are aware of the rate differences. Thank you for your support.
