Reporting

Research discrepancies if compensation and hours (or days) as reported do not agree with compensation and hours (or days) actually earned for the months sampled. Make sure that the compensation and hours (or days) have been reported in the month in which they were earned and not in the month in which they were paid.

Review the current year for discrepancies if reporting errors are discovered after you complete your research of the previous year's self audit. Note: If you find errors, and you sampled only a percentage of your employees, it is your responsibility to ensure that the reporting of hours and compensation is correct for all your employees.
