Verifying Employees Who are Eligible to Participate in the Washington State Retirement System
- Use the appropriate Eligibility Determination Chart and Questionnaire to check eligibility on all employees on the list that you compiled. When using the Eligibility Questionnaire, be sure to complete all applicable questions before making the eligibility determination.
- You may need to use payroll registers and timesheets to research part-time employees. Employees in an ineligible position may become eligible because of the number of hours they are working on a consistent basis.
