Retirement Status
You will need to know...
- For everyone that
you hire (regardless of position
status), you are required by RCW 41.50.139 to solicit in writing
if they are retired from a Washington State Retirement System.
- DRS has developed
the Retirement Status Form. The employer may choose to use this form,
or create one of their own.
- The employer retains
the form.
