Early Retirement

Purchasing an Annuity

If you're a member of TRS, WSPRS or LEOFF Plan 2, you can supplement your monthly benefit by making a one-time, lump sum payment to purchase an annuity. Read the TRS Plans brochure or the LEOFF Plan 2 and WSPRS Plans 1 and 2 brochure to learn more.

Purchasing Service Credit

You may purchase additional service credit to increase your monthly retirement benefit. You can purchase additional service credit only at the time of your retirement. You cannot use the additional service credit to qualify for retirement.
