Note: A change was made to TRS membership provisions during the 2008 legislative session.
Effective June 12, 2008, active Plan 2 members of the Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) with at least two years of TRS service, are eligible to purchase up to seven years of service credit for public education experience earned outside of TRS.
