Retirees, inactive members, beneficiaries and legal-order payees: You can update your address from your online retirement account. Just select “Address” from the welcome screen. If you need to update your name, fill out and send in a printed form as well as a copy of documentation showing the change.
Active members: Update your name and/or address through your employer. That new information will soon appear in your online retirement account.
The Department of Retirement Systems has learned that a partner website was infected by a virus that could have been transmitted to computers visiting the site since late Thursday evening (Nov. 14). The website (ncwctc.com) provides streaming video recordings of the DRS “Planning for Retirement” seminars.
The seminar website has been taken offline while technicians fix the virus issue. Additionally, all links to the seminar website have been removed from the DRS website and Facebook page. No other online services provided by DRS have been affected.
If you visited the seminar website anytime between 11:00 p.m. PST Thursday (Nov. 14) and 10:00 a.m. PST Friday (Nov. 15), we encourage you to run a scan of your computer using your antivirus/security software.
It is anticipated that the seminar website will be back online no later than Monday morning (Nov. 18). DRS will re-post links to the seminar website once it has been restored to normal operation.
