DRS website refresh

Posted 18-Jul-2014

A preview of the new DRS website design is now available, and you’re invited to tell us what you think.

You can preview the site now in a test environment. Because this is a test environment, information on these pages may not be current.

The look and feel of the site and simplified navigation are among the changes you’ll see. This website refresh is based on trends we observed in site analytics, feedback gathered from you and best practices for web usability. This is just one step in an ongoing website update. Future plans for the website include the search function and site architecture.

The final redesign launches in August, and all content from the current website will remain the same. We made some behind-the-scenes code changes that make the pages work better. Pages are modified to help you find the material you’re looking for no matter how you’re browsing, and helps you easily access information with easier-to-scan pages.

The refreshed site also adapts to different browsers and devices, and is viewable on smartphones and tablets. This responsive design enables you to access all site content regardless of the device you’re using. It automatically resizes content to fit your device.

DRS will continue to conduct testing to keep website easy-to-use, and we want your help with this survey. If you provide us with your email address in the survey, we’ll contact you to participate in upcoming website testing for future changes. You can also sign up for email notifications to learn about future changes to the DRS website.
