The Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) is requesting your assistance in providing information about how your organization prepares its financial statements. DRS is collecting this information from all employers to aid in the preparation of resources that will assist in implementing new pension reporting standards established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). (See DRS Email 13-015, New GASB Standards.)
Below is a link to a brief online survey (it should take less than three minutes to complete). Survey responses should be provided by the person responsible for the preparation of your organization’s financial statements.
Your feedback will assist DRS in providing information and resources that will promote a smooth transition to the new standards. Please take a moment to complete the survey and transmit your responses no later than February 28, 2014.
