Subject: DRS Email 16-006, Employees Can Update Beneficiary Information Online
The Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) has released a new online tool to help your employees ensure their remaining benefits will quickly go to the right people down the road.
Now plan members and Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) participants can input or update their beneficiary choices, including mailing addresses and benefit percentages, within online account access from the DRS homepage. Members’ beneficiary information will stay in their online accounts. And they can make changes at any time.
