We’d like your help in reminding your employees that their annual retirement statements will be available online March 10, 2010.
Paper statements will not be distributed for LEOFF Plan 1 members or PERS members. Although DRS will mail paper statements directly to LEOFF Plan 2 members, they may also view their statements online.
Below is sample language that you may wish to use in an email to your employees. Please edit the message to correspond with your agency’s personnel policies regarding use of the internet.
Sample Email to employees:
Reminder: Your Annual Retirement Statement is Now Available Online.
You may go online to view your 2009 annual retirement statement beginning March 10, 2010. The Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) no longer sends this statement out in paper form to LEOFF Plan 1 members or PERS members.
We encourage you to use Defined Benefit Access to review your annual statement.
