NEW EMPLOYER PENSION CONTRIBUTION RATES

New contribution rates are presented in the charts below. The new rates were passed by the Legislature during the recently completed special session and are effective April 1 (PERS, PSERS, and SERS); July 1 (PERS and PSERS); and September 1, 2012 (TRS and SERS). Only those systems and plans that have a change in their rates are listed. Please note that these are employer rate changes only. Member rates have not changed.

What if I have already reported April/May compensation to DRS?

DRS will identify any April or May compensation previously reported and processed through May 4th and apply the new rates. Employers who previously reported April/May compensation will receive a credit on their account as a result of the application of the new rates. Your account manager in the DRS Accounts Receivable Unit will contact you about how to use the credit applied to your account.
