
Employers have several methods for transmitting retirement data to the Department of Retirement Systems:
Recommended for employers with 85 or less employees for regular transmittal reporting, and for all employers for correction transmittal reporting. View WBET procedures in Using the DRS Web Based Services.
The SFT method allows employers to send their transmittal report over the Internet using FTP SFT software. Many payroll systems can be programmed to download the payroll data directly into this file. See Reporting by Secure File Transfer and Creating an ASCII Format Transmittal Report sections.
