Member contribution rates approved
Member contribution rates have been approved by the legislature and signed by the governor for the 2023-2025 biennium.
Rates for most plans will go into effect on July 1, 2023. Rates for TRS and SERS will go into effect on Sept. 1, 2023.

Member and employer contribution rates for Washington’s retirement systems are established every two years. Rates for most retirement plans are approved by the Washington State Pension Funding Council; rates for the Law Enforcement Officers’ and Fire Fighters’ (LEOFF) Retirement System Plan 2 are approved by the LEOFF Plan 2 Retirement Board.
