Retirees requested for disaster recovery
The Military Department has requested that DRS alert retirees to an urgent need to hire folks to support ongoing disaster recovery operations in Spokane and statewide. For more information about the Disaster Reservist Program and how to apply, visit:
Hours worked for the Military Department will count towards your annual limit. Most retirees can work 867 hours per calendar year while still receiving their pension. If you exceed your plan’s limit, your pension will be stopped until you separate or it resets in January, whichever comes first.
