The Department of Retirement Systems will be closed to in-person visits and services effective Tuesday, March 17. The closure has been implemented to protect our customers and team members during the COVID-19 pandemic.
DRS’ secure and convenient online services remain available, including customer account access, live webinars, information resources and tools to apply for retirement online. DRS also continues to process retirement applications and benefit payments as normal.
Email and telephone services will continue on the regular schedule of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, although there will likely be longer wait times for phone calls. During this time of adjusted operations, customers are encouraged to connect with DRS through the secure email option in their online accounts.
Customers who need a notary stamp are asked to call or email DRS so we can make arrangements to assist.
DRS continues to follow state directives and other guidance to slow the spread of COVID-19, including expanded teleworking by team members, minimizing personal contacts and promoting social distancing.
