Employer reporting requirements and multiple record layouts were distributed in January 2017 and updated in March 2017. DRS previewed the requirements with ERA Early Adopters for their input to this important technical document. If there are additional technical updates, a new version and a list of the changes will be distributed. We strongly encourage you to share the ERA Employer Technical Requirements and Reporting Procedures Version 2.0 with those in your organization who work with your current reporting software.
An important part of developing ERA is giving employers opportunities to offer feedback during the build. One of those channels is the ERA Early Adopters and Advisors Committee. DRS hosted the committee’s kickoff in November. Nearly 70 attendees, including public employers and software providers, attended the meeting either in person or through WebEx.

Along with gathering input through ongoing Early Adopters and Advisors meetings, and the ERA FAQ, we’ll be working with all employers to assess their readiness for the ERA rollout.
