*If you need to personally serve DRS with legal documents, contact DRS Legal or send mail attention “Legal Services Director” to the mailing address listed above. In-person service requirements are waived until further notice. Retirees, inactive members, beneficiaries and legal-order payees: You can update your address from your online retirement account. Just select “Address” from the welcome screen. If you need to update your name, fill out and send in a printed form as well as a copy of documentation showing the change.
Active members: Update your name and/or address through your employer. That new information will soon appear in your online retirement account.
Set up and manage direct deposit of your benefit payments from your online retirement account. Just follow the “Direct Deposit” directions under “My Account” in the navigation menu.

Customer calls and requests for information have increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many customers are experiencing longer than usual wait times. We have every available resource working to answer calls in the order they are received. Our Retirement Specialists will give you the time and attention you need to get your questions answered.
When is the best time to call DRS?
DRS phone lines are available 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. You are likely to experience shorter wait times when you call Tuesday through Thursday from 8-11 am and again after 1 pm on these days.
